We were chanting prayers, screaming and panicking - Passenger recounts moment smoke engulfed Lagos-bound flight

Twitter user, Oriaku, was on the Aero Contractor flight travelling to Lagos from Port Harcourt when it was engulfed in smoke on Tuesday, April 18th.
Taking to her twitter handle, she narrated how the entire plane was filled with smoke just 20 minutes after take off, causing panic among the passengers. More tweets after the cut.

So sorry u all went through that. I feel so bad. We thanÄ· God almighty. Just a warning to our airlines. They are probably beginning to relax on safety.

Enter your comment... Na over panicking dey worry nigerians, when being instructed by cabin crew to adhere to certain things you always think they are just Trolley Dolly's. Some pax would ve survived that dana crash if only they knew how to operate the exits( people around heard pax screaming until they were all choked up by smoke).

Incredible, neither apologies nor explanations were given by the supposed airline. Is this supposed country actually a human society?.

Thk God for His deliverance. Actually heard details of it last nite frm a frnd whose fiance was on board that flight. Hear it was a terrible experience,nd yes,no apologies frm the coy so far. Imagine that!

All the passengers in that Aircraft should have a rethink about their spiritual stand with God. If any is not saved yet, my advice is run to the nearest bible believing church n surrendered to Jesus NOW! this may be ur last chance.
