But what is isah doing in the bush and still living in iyakpi? I doubt this story. I know this family very well. I think that he rushed to where the animal was killed ad took pics. This guy cannot be a village hunter. Never

People of this age and time wouldn't just cease to amaze one. They wouldn't even feel
awkward to come and display their shameful ignoramuses on social media.
Who says buffalos don't breed in west Africa. Various hunters have been killing
them from time immemorial.

This isnt a buffalo
Its probably some specie of wild cow that is probably going into extinction and should be protected, but alas hunger and ignorance is driving us to a state where we dont care about nature.

Pure bush meat!!! thats a congo buffalo. Easter don set!

Stop this killing mentality people especially rare animals such as this. The poor animal was probably pregnant. I know there is hunger in the land, kill Nigerian politicians instead

naviblac said...

I agree with you 100%. This should not be celebrated at all.

Anonymous said...

Agreed too, seems there are no laws for preservation of such animals in Nigeria. Pity.

I know him o, former student union president 2001/2002 Auchi polytechnic.. Well schooled too. Interesting kill. But you all have to understand that in that part of the world, hunting is part of their culture. This brings respect to the individual.

Deer ....loool

Mayor Rickets said...

I agreed with 1 million percent. But our ppl are short sighted. You eat it today it is gone. But preserving it can create generational wealth in a conservation

Anonymous said...

I couldn't have agreed more, Anonymous 11 April 2017 at 14:02.

It is senseless to kill rare animals just for the sake of eating bush meat! (They should start with politicians from their local government instead)
What these people don't know is that, the animal is worth more alive than dead.
