The most painful thing is that there is probably some millions of dollars buried just on that very ground he is sleeping on. That's what happens when the yardstick of democratic divided are roads only which are even substandard.

Give him food, shelter, drugs and a gun, he becomes the next generation Boko Haram. Nigeria government has to rise up to deal with this monster before it evolves to something bigger than Boko Haram. The fight against insurgency is not just with bullets.

After the these years of rulership from the north there is nothing to show that all the monies they stole was used to develop the North. They r still the largest highly populated, illiterate and poorest in Nigeria. They preach religion to the mumu an poor while the ones in politics steals money. Let them suffer it, born to rule pple, period

Until when parents are made to be responsible to the children they brought into the World, this wickedness clothed in Almajiri system will continue to hunt and hurt all of us. The sad aspect of it is that the practice paint the Islamic religion in the worst of lights. Islam advocate the seeking of knowledge but our people are using it to abdicate their parental responsibilities to their children (especially the males). Why on earth will a father send a 5 years old son to Kaduna from Sokoto to seek Islamic education under some Mallam without school fees, no clothing, no provision for his feeding and no provision for his lodging. When I see these boys (my fellow Nigerians and brothers) suffering this wickedness I weep. In all the Northern towns and villages there are capable mallams that can impact the religious knowledge required by our children. These children could attend lessons in mosque or Islamic schools/centres close their homes and thereafter return home for parental care and responsibilities. But no, the wicked parents choose to send them far off and we are all guilty for not challenging this barbaric act. And so he and million others sleep in the open while their parents sleep comfortably. Sad sad sad.

It is said life is beautiful, but the condemnation of life is barbaric. Man can build, create beauty but cannot breath life or consciousness into his creation. So why belittle the Allah or God's creation with this attitude of man.
i wonder 1 will push out such a beautiful creation to fend for themselves in this time and age, and wonder why we wont have series of societal implosions in the future.
A Chinese saying say 'better today so that tomorrow will be secured'. I rest my case here
