Foreign journalist claims Nigerian businessman allegedly withdrew $54,418,000 in cash after Shell/Eni oil deal in 2011

According to a Staff Writer with US based magazine, Foreign Policy, Robbie Gramer, new facts from investigations into the fraud surrounding the Shell/ENI deal that was sealed during the last administration in 2011, shows that a Nigerian businessman allegedly withdrew $54,418,000 in cash after the deal was sealed.

The deal has witnessed a prolonged court trial following allegations that Shell and ENI connived with a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dan Etete and other powerful government officials to defraud the Nigerian government of the $1.1 billion paid for the acquisition of the Nigerian OPL 245 oil block. The Jonathan we know wouldn't have been a part of the allegations. Certainly when investigations are over, he will be vindicated. However, I cannot vouch for his wife. Again, remember that others may use his name to get some cut
