So someone can't keep money at home again?? Has a crime been committed? Was the money stolen? EFCC get your concrete evidence otherwise the case will be thrown out of court. All this playing to the gallery- we don't need it

U r big fool to ask such a dumb question. Keeping such huge amount of money at home. What then happens to bank if you know the source of the money is legit. Corrupt Nigerian like you

why will you keep such at home if you are not a thief. what is the bank for

I wonder o @ Anonymous. I think EFCC should be sued for releasing the information and also the address of the house without due diligence.

It's only the beginning we'll hear of, we'll not hear of the end.

Nonsense and ingredient.

Wait o. Is it now a crime to keep money at home? Can EFCC check baba Sege and Aisha Buhari's bedroom. This is just invasion of privacy. I don't like this. You keep dollars I'm banks they won't let you withdraw. You keep at home it becomes whitsleblowers money.
Time to hide money in more creative ways. I don't like this.
Most abokis doing Forex hide money underground in their houses. EFCC should question them then. I just hate this!!!!!!
Next thing they will go to Churches and demand Where they get money to build billion dollars Churches. In fact they should start with Redeemed since Osibanjo likes this bull.

emy zeal said...

People at ikoyi please u should knw this building, please tell us the owner

EFCC will never learn their lesson. They spoil a goof case out of pen chant for cheap publicity. You don't win a criminal or corruption case on social media. Proper discrete investigation and due legal procedure is germaine for proving your case beyond all reasonable doubt.

When banks are beginning to make stupid policies on deposits and withdrawals, why would people not start turning there homes to banks. After hustling, you take your money to the bank and they charge you 3 to 5% on your deposit of huge sums, isn't that the REAL RUBBERY? Now we can't even tell who the good guys are anymore.

Say what you wanna say and do what you wanna do. The long and short of it all is that the owner of the money has already been discharged and aquitted. Perhaps he did not make enough settlement at the initial stage.

Rubbished country now at the brim of collapse in the hands of discredited leaders.

If you don't have any skeleton in your cupboard, you have nothing to fear. Whistle blowers are aware of d source. But for someone to keep such huge amount in your home is putting oneself life in jeopardy. Definitively, there's more to this...you can genuine source of income and you'll be hiding such humongous amount at home. Deres God ooooooo.

I hope what efcc is acting this days is real, because its becoming too much, arresting money alone without known owners. I hope when the present government leaves efcc will not say all these were sting operations to creat fear and panic among corrupt leaders.

Hope this is not blood money ohhh

At least someone is living at the b4 they should tell us more about the building (owner) since they decided to go open on the address of the house instead of confidentiality....

Mehn, I am dumbstruck at the size of the loot/hidden stash of hard currency & naira. Meanwhile, the next seizure gets bigger and unfathomable......who is the suspect this time around? Who owns or lives in the property where this was discovered? What is their source of living/occupation? What are the reasons for hiding such enormous amounts of cash at home away from the banks? What exactly is the suspect/s trying to hide? Much respect to Magu and his EFCC team as well as, whistle-blowers. Keep it up guys. QED@atm

Let us wait and see who will claim the money. No need insulting one another. If you invest the money in Nigeria, you will employ like 1500 to 2000 workers which is something in these trying time.

Why are some people so immature, there is no moral ground for insulting other persons on platforms like this. Where is our sense of brotherly kindness. Oh my God!! You don't have to insult, abuse and even wish another Nigerian ill-luck simply because he/she made ano opinion you don't like. That is grossly immature.

There should be a limit of cash that people can keep outside the bank that is the only way corruption will stop.

Anonymous said...

EFCC should have mount a surveillance to catch the people that come to deposit money at that apartment first. With this cheap publicity, now all the criminals will be at large. Who knows there may be many of this money in other locations. We only need to know this when all the criminals have been booked
