Audu Maikori's court case adjourned till May 15, as Magistrate court fails to seat

Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori's on-going court case over his comments on the Southern Kaduna crisis, didn't hold today, April 20, after the magistrate court didn't sit. Audu who has been arrested twice on the case last appeared in court on Monday, March 13, 2017 when he was granted bail on health grounds and the case was adjourned till today.

The court sat this morning at about 9am but the case was adjourned till May 15, 2017 after the judge on the case didn't come.

From what I hear, the court didn't even sit o. They should please not kill the bright young man for us. This is just harassment as far as I am concerned. Someone is speaking against the killing of his people and you then proceed to arrest him? Make God save us

I think this issue has now become a case of using state resources to witch-hunt perceived enemies. Abi it's more than this? Instead of wasting money and attention trying to try Audu why can't El Rufai focus on stopping the Fulani Herdsmen running riot in Southern Kaduna?

I watched one lady on Channels TV yesterday morning who obviously was on the verge of tears about the killings that happened again during Easter. The whole thing just makes me feel for those in that area, and sad that the govt has so neglected them. I am sure people from that area will be praying for Audu. No one deserves to be harassed like this for speaking up for their tribe.
