'I plan to travel by road to and from Abuja using different routes to see the current states of our roads'- Saraki says

The Senate President said this after he spent three hours on the Minna-Suleja road that could have taken just an hour. According to Saraki, he met with the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, yesterday and the road would soon be fixed. See more of his replies to his followers after the cut.

Be sincere. Abuja to Ilorin a out 4 to 5 hours by road. If you go to Kaduna to take a flight, in total, you might spend more time. This is the reason you are going by road.

Hypocrites, How about the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway. How productive is that road compared to the road that leads to the Gateway to the Nation's economy. The way these law makers reason can't seem to amaze me. Nigeria is a nation north an emirate. Tueh!

Good for you if you come back alive because I can confirm to you that there's no good stretch of road in Nigeria.....

Well. Infrastructure maintenance shouldn't be political. There is a Ministry of Works that's supposed to ensure that our roads are in good repair. They don't. So the solution is that the Senate President drives on the road by happenstance and then complain to the Minister of Finance? Whatever happened to the Minister of Works? What if that Ministry has a different priority? As long as Nigeria is ruled this way, it will make little or no progress. Mark my words. Finally, there's nothing to congratulate the SP about. Using the road millions if Nigerians use is not an accomplishment - au contraire, it exposes the lack of connection between the leaders and the governed.
