I would definitely stay at my job. There are tons of scholarship opportunities but there are very few good paying jobs. Trust me, any smart and experienced person would stay at their jobs.

I have friends with UK Mscs who are still being offered 150-200k per month.

Joke a part I am on a scholarship worth 20k euro per anuum for my PhD, 8k for tuition and 12k paid to me instalmentally monthly for living allowance. The PhD is nice no doubt but if I tell you how I fear the unknown after the PhD eeh. So many what 'ifs' always cross my mind.

From experience I will stay put to a 6M naira per anuum job infact even 4M naira than to go for the further studies unless there is a way I can convince my company to give me a leave, even if it is without pay.

With your PhD, your best bet is a lecturing job, and you start with 300k per month. Better stick to your current job.

I have a PhD from the UK (STEM-related) but have been struggling to get a job and I am not alone at all. I think part of what is affecting me is lack of work experience.
Furthermore, you may want to get some work experience after your MSc, but this is no longer possible in the UK.
Knowing what I know now, I would say take the job to get invaluable experience, then try to save up for your MSc. These days, experience seems to count a lot more than qualifications. My two kobo.
