Zarita Fashion Academy

Zarita Kouture is a high fashion clothing line, designing corporate wear and occasion wear for women and men. Zarita Kouture has participated in various local and international fashion shows and events amongst which include the: Africa fashion week London (afwl) , 2013 & 2014; fashions finest London fashion week 2013; montage Africa fashion show, 2013; African fashion week Nigeria, 2014, amongst others. 
In 2016, the Zarita Fashion Academy was set up which involves training students in courses which includes; pattern cutting, fashion illustration, fashion business, Makeup & gele and beads & accessories courses. These fashion trainings are ideally to skillfully empower our youths and citizens to be able to stand on their own.

Zarita Fashion Academy Is Abuja’s Only Fashion Academy with a Joint Certification with the National Open University of Nigeria offering Professional Fashion Courses. This Prestigious Fashion Academy Is Owned by Abuja gorgeous Fashionista and Entrepreneurial Guru Mrs. Stella-Rita Awelle Asogwa Popularly Known as Mrs. Larita an Economic Graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Who Is Also a Graduate of the Beauty Academy London

Mrs. Larita Asogwa is an indigene of Imo State Nkwerre Local Government but born in Ilorin,
Kwara State She Is The Owner Of Marcoriano Chinese Restaurant Abuja and Zarita kouture.

Her beauty and fashion career started when she  started selling Marykay products before traveling to the UK to learn beauty therapy in London which she came back to start  giving  beauty services like facials and skin care to clients in her house. in 2009, she took the business into a rented shop @911 mall Usama street of Ghana street maitama abuja where she also decided to also set up the Larita’s
beauty spa and salon and professionally going into the salon &  spa business.
Thereafter in the year 2010 she went into the food business as a restaurateur setting up Marcoriano Chinese restaurant in maitama which started when Mrs StellaRita and her husband had their meal at the restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos and immediately fell in love with the food and decided they would like to buy into the company and that is how they bought the franchise called Marcopolo Chinese restaurant which ran successfully from 2010 to 2013 before they signed off and ended the franchise and started with Marcoriano Chinese restaurant, which is running successfully till date.

However her fashion line and fashion academy were created in 2012 due to her  love for fashion which started  since childhood that only grew more and more with time and exposed her to the fashion world, making her crave more and more to express her fashion senses to the world because she always dreamt and wanted to work for the biggest fashion companies in the world  like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle and the likes, her  fashion icon is Victoria beckham “as her chic, polished look is just my style” she says. She decided to go into fashion professionally after she got the vision to start up the clothing line which led to the visualization of setting up a fashion academy as a way of contributing to the skill empowerment of Nigerian youths and in turn contribute to the growth of the Nigerian fashion industry which is a viable source of wealth creation and women empowerment.
She says it gives her great joy to see people who had no skill or prior knowledge in sewing or makeup and then few weeks later you see the pieces they have created and you can only marvel and thank god.
