Rok to reach every corner of Africa - Coming soon to DStv Channel 168

Following from the hugely successful launch of #RokOnSky in the UK last month, Rok, the award-winning Nigerian film studio and entertainment brand, today is announcing that it will launch across Africa on DStv on channel 168 on 1 November 2016. As Mary Njoku told her fans on social media, - #SkyIsTheBeginning! And she was right.

The Lagos-based film studio, renowned for its original TV series and Nollywood movies, will join the DStv family in just a few weeks, bringing awesome original content across Africa on channel 168, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Rok team is not resting for a minute - Mary Njoku only recently just landed back in Lagos after spending time in London and has been back on set and filming again for the new channel. She doesn’t stop!

Rok on DStv will launch with exclusively produced content, such as Festac Town, Banks Chronicles and Bloodline, with all TV series and films being the first time aired on African TV. All content will be available free on DStv Premium, DStv Compact Plus and DStv Compact packages.

Since its launch in 2013, Rok Studios has produced some of Nollywood’s most talked about originals, including Desperate Housegirls, Losing Control and Cougars

Keep an eye out for 1 November and channel 168 on DStv - Rok is coming to screens across Africa!
