Photos: In Yobe State, a family is forced to carry dead woman home in a wheelbarrow after hospital refused transport

A family in Karasuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State had to carry the corpse of a deceased female relative home for burial in a wheelbarrow after the public hospital where she died refused to provide an ambulance. According to Rariya, the family couldn't afford money for ambulance service and the hospital authorities declined to transport the body.

God Almighty! !! Nigeria has no value for the life of the common man. Haba! How much is an ambulance? Not air ambulance o. Yet the robbers who call themselves our politicians will be spending money on frivolities while their wives and daughters are adorned in expensive apparels.

The hospital is not a charity organization. It's not their fault there are poor people that can't afford proper health care.

This is like,'Nigeria vs India. An Indian man carried his wife's corpse on his head, because of poverty, just as you have in the Yobe case. May God deliver us all from the grip of poverty

A vehicle that conveys corpses is called a HEARSE while a vehicle that conveys emergency patients to the hospital or referred patients from one hospital to another is calm an AMBULANCE. It is only in Nigeria that a vehicle that conveys corpses is called an Ambulance. Pity!
