Okiemute Ighoroje inducted into the MTN Project Fame West Africa's wall of fame

After nine weeks of intensive training and competition, OkiemuteIghorodje, has emerged as the winner of MTN Project Fame, West Africa’s biggest music talent hunt.

She also won for herself a recording contract worth N20 million, the largest of its kind from any music talent hunt competition.

The other finalists did not go home empty handed as Winner, who performed Adele’s Hello, won for herself N500, 000 naira after she was announced as the sixth best contestant while Dapo who did Labyrinth’s Jealous walked away with N1m for emerging the fourth runner up. It wasn’t all about the fame seeking music stars. Miss Ige stunned the life audience with a breathtaking performance of Hallelujah while Adekunle Gold also took to the stage to perform some of his hit tunes.
However, the night belonged to Okiemute. The Delta State born song bird got the audience dancing to Phyno’sFadaFada.

Okiemute had no real rivalry she was quite outstanding, she should borrow a leave from Chidinma and Iyanya as well as Praise who still kept the fire burning, don't fizzle out as other past winners that failed to keep the fire burning.

Okiemute all the way.. I knew she had something piercing in her right from the auditions. She deserved it no doubt. As for Elizabeth, I wouldn't say her position which would have been kitay's took me by surprise but it kinda actually did. She proved herself towards the end of the competition though, all thanks to Tiwa Savage's Standing Ovation. But it's all good..I love 'em both. Wish them all projections goodluck! *smiles*
