Each image is unique passing it own message, but the short and fall of all is that "there is a paradigm shift in human nature". Misplaced priorities in human activities in relation to interaction and environment at large.

We can't stop technological growth, however, our lives should not be directed by it.

The social media has today reduced corporate gatherings and social etiquettes, because you have a phone and data, you suddenly become a journalist, a relationship expert, e.t.c these are things that require training and submission to authority, also the fact that we are on social media, doesn't mean we lose our training and sense of respect towards the elderly, use of corrupt and profane words, as well as derogatory statements, should be curtailed, ; better still learn how to address people. Greet as you will in reality, that's how culture and respect can be sustained in a technologically proliferating world

A nine year old boys, pings someone 21yrs older than Him and says "Hi" or "How far" What happened to morals and discipline? that's a product of bad Societal parentage,. Don't abused the media, caution the use of your words, people you can't abuse in reality, don't shade them on media,

How many books have you read in a day? Ebooks? Sorry nothing sticks as taking a library approach towards reading, don't subscribe to short words learning, they are just sound bites, conviction can't be built from them. Many of us read our undergraduate books, without complaints concerning the length of the words, however today you will hear it's too long joor, make it Short and simple, this pastor's message is too long, all are side effects of over reliance on technology.

We can't stop technology, but we can rule it.

health is wealth. The man was confined to the hospital bed and plugged to some machines because he has some health issues but he decides that re-charging his phone battery is more important than re-charging his own health. In the process of trying to plug his phone to the socket, he ended up unplugging himself from the machine and he passed out.

Anonymous said...

Our phones and social network is in charge of our lives and most especially our brains as it stands.

Anonymous said...

Linda, this one really got me ooh, I was laughing and at the same time angry really, the picture shows a man on life support but was glued to his phone or tablet and maybe his battery ran out, he remove his life support wire from the socket and wanted to charge his phone, and of course died.

The first image indicates that his phone battery life was made a priority to the detriment of his. Life. That was why he had to unplug the oxgen and plugged in his phone.

In summary the whole images shows how people's love for technology exceeds the love they have for them selves and there fellow man.Thereby distracting them. From what they are doing or intend to do.

The man is on life machine support and at the same time was chatiing or browsing with this phone. At a point the phone battery went very low and hence the need to recharge it.

As he rush to charge the phone ,he forgot that the machine aiding his life is what he is about to replace with his phone charger. He went dead as soon as he un-puck the machine pug on the socket wall.

Showing how cell phones have taken over all our time. We often spent most of our time on phone. Some relationship are very distant, and sometimes we feel so close to those we community on phone with than those we stay close to. Wow! that's a cool message. #Lilytop.com

The last picture from my understanding is only trying to depict the fact that most girls are all trying to be artificial. With make up, bleaching their skin etc. While there are only a few being natural.

Boldly stated messages clearly revealing how bad the rapidly evolving technological and economical modernization is affecting the people of this age. The few points I vividly make out are the fact that It might make one spend more money. New research suggests that heavy social media use might be correlated to lower self-control, which marketing experts believe could lead to higher spending. Secondly, It messes with your ability to think independently. And thirdly It may hurt your self-esteem. When two German universities joined forces to investigate social networking, researchers discovered that one in three people surveyed felt worse ("lonely, frustrated or angry") after spending time on Facebook, often due to perceived inadequacies when comparing themselves to friends.
